Food Pantry - The first Sunday of each month is Food Pantry Sunday. We use this Sunday to help stock our food pantry. The carts near the entrances are there for you to place your donated goods. We also take monetary donations and will do the shopping if you would rather donate in that way. Food pantry operation hours are on Tuesdays from 9am-12pm. If you would like to volunteer to help out in the food pantry or if you need a list of items we give out, please contact the office at 217-429-4278.

Communion Help– If you would like to help serve communion on Sunday mornings, please contact Andrea Zelhart at 217-855-5456 or check the box on your connect card and turn it in to an offering plate at the back of the sanctuary.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast– All men are welcome to join together to connect with one another and pray at Panera on Thursday mornings at 7:00 a.m. Come when you can, leave when you have to.

Prayer Requests- If you have a prayer request or praise, you can write it on your Connect Card and turn it in, email [email protected], or call or text the church phone at 217-429-4278. Please include the prayer request or praise and whether it needs to remain confidential.

Membership– If you are interested in placing your membership or getting baptized, please check the box on your Connect Card and our Senior Minister will contact you.

Volunteers Needed- We have many volunteers in our KidZone ministry– nursery, preschool, and elementary– that are heading off to college. If you are interested in volunteering one Sunday a month with any age, please mark the box on your Connect Card or talk to Scott Monette or Melissa Ryan.

Life Group– Students who graduate high school and stay local for their next step can sometimes feel left out in the church; youth groups aren’t really meant for them, but adult small groups seem a little out of reach. That’s why NW Student Ministry is starting Life Group: a small group for the in-between time of emerging adulthood. If you’re done with high school and looking to connect with other 18-25 year-olds, this one’s for you! Watch for more info on when this group will start in the coming weeks.

Knitting Club– The knitting group will resume on Wednesday, March 20th from 9-11am. They will continue meeting in A3, the classroom off of the foyer. No experience is needed, just a willingness to try!

Current Sunday School Class– The Book of Romans is being taught in March by Jason Wiegard and will be held in A1 during the 9am Sunday School hour. The first 12 weeks will go until the Sunday before Easter, and the last 11 weeks will start the Sunday after Easter and go until June 16th.

Meals on Wheels– We have received a phone call from Meals on Wheels gauging any interest in helping pass out meals for them. There are 2 routes per day and each route would be 45 minutes to an hour long. You would use your own vehicle for the routes. Please contact the office if you would be interested in this opportunity to serve our community.

Team Day– Wear your favorite jersey, sports gear, or team colors to support your favorite team on Sunday, March 3rd!

Tailgate Potluck– Join us after service on March 3rd for a tailgate potluck and some basketball! Hotdogs and drinks will be provided. Please bring your favorite tailgate side or dessert to share. We look forward to seeing you there!

CIY Move– CIY Move 2024 is coming up June 23rd-28th in Bowling Green, Ohio at Bowling Green State University. The cost is $400 and is due by May 19th. Students going into 9th grade through completion of 12th grade can sign up on the Student Board across from the office.

Easter Lilies– We are ordering Easter Lilies again this year. Easter lilies will be $35 and the form and money need to be turned in by March 3rd. If you pay via Pushpay, please indicate on your Easter Lily form that you paid online. Thanks!

Famous Last Words- Join us for our Good Friday service on Friday, March 29th at 7pm.
