Food Pantry - The first Sunday of each month is Food Pantry Sunday. We use this Sunday to help stock our food pantry. The carts near the entrances are there for you to place your donated goods. We also take monetary donations and will do the shopping if you would rather donate in that way. Food pantry operation hours are on Tuesdays from 9am-12pm. If you would like to volunteer to help out in the food pantry or if you need a list of items we give out, please contact the office at 217-429-4278.

Kidzone– If you would like to help out in any of our children’s ministries, please check the box on your connect card or let the office know.

Communion Help– If you would like to help serve communion on Sunday mornings, please contact Andrea Zelhart at 217-855-5456 or check the box on your connect card and turn it in to an offering plate at the back of the sanctuary.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast– All men are welcome to join together to connect with one another and pray at Panera on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. Come when you can, leave when you have to.

Prayer Requests- If you have a prayer request or praise, you can write it on your Connect Card and turn it in, email [email protected], or call or text the church phone at 217-429-4278. Please include the prayer request or praise and whether it needs to remain confidential.

Current Sermon Series– Throughout the book of Luke, we see a contrast between two ideas, people, thoughts, or methodologies. Luke hopes that we will see one as vastly superior to the other and will adjust our lives accordingly. Join us for the next 6 weeks for this series.

Current Sunday School Class– The Sunday School class in A1 is discussing Psalm 23. The class is 6 weeks long and they are covering 1 verse per week. The class is taught by Steve Higgs and Scott Monette and is ultimately looking at “Do I trust the Good Shepherd to take care of my needs like the Bible says He will?”.

Easter Breakfast– Join us at 9am on Sunday, April 9th for breakfast in the fellowship hall before our Easter service at 10am. There will be no Sunday School that morning.

Good Friday– We will have our Good Friday service on Friday, April 7th at 7pm.

Women’s Bible Study– If you signed up for the Spring Women's Bible Study, don't forget that it begins this Wednesday, April 5th at 6:30 on the Lower Level. If you have any questions, contact Andrea Zelhart, Deb Wiese, or Janet Huth.

A Space for Prayer- Mondays through Thursday we have our sanctuary opened from 10am-2pm for anyone that desires a quiet place to pray. Baskets of devotional materials and prayer guides will be available for your use, as well as bookmarks and suggestions for prayer for you to take home. If you are in need of time away from work during your lunch hour or a break from your busy day, please stop by and enjoy a time of private prayer.

Wednesday Knitting Group– You are invited to join the knitting group that has started meeting in A3 on Wednesday mornings from 9-11am. They are currently knitting hats for the homeless. No experience is needed, just a willingness to try!
