Food Pantry - The first Sunday of each month is Food Pantry Sunday. We use this Sunday to help stock our food pantry. The carts near the entrances are there for you to place your donated goods. We also take monetary donations and will do the shopping if you would rather donate in that way. Food pantry operation hours are on Tuesdays from 9am-12pm. If you would like to volunteer to help out in the food pantry or if you need a list of items we give out, please contact the office at 217-429-4278.

Life Group– Students who graduate high school and stay local for their next step can sometimes feel left out in the church; youth groups aren’t really meant for them, but adult small groups seem a little out of reach. That’s why NW Student Ministry is starting Life Group: a small group for the in-between time of emerging adulthood. If you’re done with high school and looking to connect with other 18-25 year-olds, this one’s for you! Watch for more info on when this group will start in the coming weeks.
Halloween– This year, we will be hosting Halloween Town: A Northwest Halloween Experience on Tuesday, October 31st from 6-7:30pm. Please sign up on your Connect Card if you would like to help with games, food, donations for the cake walk, and/or handing out candy! Tickets will be available at the Welcome Desk on Sunday, October 1st.
Pumpkin Path: We will be having our annual Pumpkin Path this year as well. This year there will be 2 categories for prizes and the top pumpkin in each category will win a prize. The categories will be decorated pumpkins and carved pumpkins. The entries for that will be on the Welcome Desk October 1st. We look forward to seeing what you come up with this year!
Knitting Club– The Knitting Club resumes Wednesday, October 4th from 9-11am. Come help us make hats for the homeless. No skills are needed.
